Arnold Schwarzenegger is once again opening up about the very common affair he had with his housekeeper that conclusively ended his wedding to estranged wife Maria Shriver.
“I don’t need any time to think when I know it was a principal, main screwup,” Schwarzenegger said in a preview clip of Harvey Levin’s new Fox show.
While the 30-second show only gives us a small feeling of what Schwarzenegger will say about his infidelity, the bodybuilding legend, movie actor, and the prior governor has opened up about the affair before. In 2015, he told Howard Stern: “I had personal setbacks, but this was, without any doubt, the biggest setback and the biggest downfall. Without any doubt. Not only defeat, but you feel like, ‘I’m to rebuke for it. It was me that turned up.’ And you can’t point the finger at anyone else. So yeah, I was hopeless in it. It’s always easy to be smart in hindsight. The thing was how do you make the best of that position?”

Maria Owings Shriver was born November 6, 1955, is an American journalist, author, former First Lady of California, and the founder of the nonprofit corporation The Women’s Alzheimer’s Movement. She was wedded to former Governor of California and actor Arnold Schwarzenegger, from him she filed for separation in 2011. Shriver has earned a Peabody Award and was co-anchor for NBC’s Emmy-winning coverage of the 1988 Summer Olympics. As an executive generator of The Alzheimer’s Project, Shriver earned two Emmy Awards and an Academy of Television Arts & Sciences prize for producing a “television show with a conscience”. She is a part of the Kennedy family; her mom, Eunice Kennedy Shriver, was a sister of John F., Robert and Ted Kennedy. Shriver is currently a “special” reporter and correspondent for NBC News.
